Sweet 'n Simple Preemie Booties These are quick and easy to make. materials: worsted weight yarn hook size 4, stitch marker gauge: 7sc=2" 2rows=1" finished size: sole is about 3" long Do not join rounds unless specified, instead use stitch marker and move after each rnd is complete ch 12 row 1: sc in 2nd hk and scross (11sc) row 2: working on opposite side of row now, sc across, place marker at end of row work in rounds now rounds 1-2: sc around (22sc) round 3: sc dec, sc in next 9 sc, sc dec, sc in remaining st (20sc) round 4: sc in next 8, sc dec twice, (this will be the toe) sc around (18sc) round 5: sc in next 5 sc, ch 18 for strap, sl st in 2nd ch and down each st sc in next 10 sc on rnd 5, ch 18 for other strap, sl st in 2nd ch and down each st sc to end of rnd5, sl st to next st, finish off. done!
